Reminder on Player Injury Fund Registration and Payment Deadline   16/02/2018

All clubs must be registered and payments submitted to Croke Park by March 1, 2018. Clubs which are not paid and registered by March 1, 2018, will not be permitted to play until such time that registration and payments have been completed in full.

Renewal invitation emails were issued to all units on December 14, 2017, renewal reminder invitations were issued on January 19, 2018 and a final renewal reminder invitation was issued on February 12, 2018 to those units who had not activated their 2018 registration
Important Notes

Please note that the 2018 GAA Injury Benefit Fund cover period is from January 1, 2018. December 31, 2018. Therefore, any unit still taking part in 2017 competitions need to ensure that they are registered for 2018 as cover for the 2017 year ceased on December 31, 2017.

No claim will be processed by Willis Towers Watson for the current playing year until renewal is fully completed, payment has been received in full and a receipt issued. GAA Injury Benefit Fund claims received by Willis Towers Watson with a date of injury between January 1 and March 1 2018 will be declined for assessment if payment in full has not been received and a receipt issued by March 1st 2018. All claims will be returned and no appeals considered.

Where renewal confirmation and / or payment is sent to Croke Park after March 1, GAA Injury Benefit Fund cover will commence from the date the receipt of payment is issued and no appeals will be considered. If your affiliated unit is entitled to a discount and payment has not been received in full on or before March 1, the discount entitlement will be removed and your unit will receive an invoice confirming same.
